The Mahanakhon building is located at the intersection of Silom Road and Rama IV Road in Silom, Bangrak.

The building is a sightseeing attraction by itself, but it has an observation deck on the 64th floor called the Bangkok Mahanakhon Skywalk which opens only for groups that purchase tickets.

However, it’s not as easy to get to the Skywalk as you might think.

To reach the Skywalk, you need to take a boat from Th Tien Pier (or Sathorn Pier) on the Chao Phraya River. From there, you’ll take a boat to get to the base of the skywalk.

It’s about a 30-minute ride from Thai Tien Pier to the base of the skywalk.

There are 2 ways to access the Skywalk: You can walk up, or take the elevator. If you choose to walk up, be prepared for some serious steps! The stairs are steep and long.

When you reach the Skywalk, you’ll have access to restrooms and other facilities. There are also food vendors nearby, so you can grab a bite to eat before heading out on the Skywalk.
